Economy

The economy in New Canada is so far very prosperous. We have many resources because our climate is not so different from how it was in the old times that all of our natural resources can still grow even though we have moved location.

Our biggest export is still lumber and we also have all of our fresh water sources intact. A new addition to our resources is tropical fruits such as oranges and pineapples. Many new plant species have already started to grow in our diverse forest areas.

We have many jobs and job opportunities available in New Canada. We want to be as independent as possible and continued education for everybody is very important. The government funds schools, hospitals and recreation centers so people can also stay fit; we want to have a strong nation.

We have many job opportunities on the sea as we are now an island so many people have been trained in that field. Also, farmers to harvest our crops, teachers and doctors are very prestigious jobs and everyone is still paid in Canadian dollars.

Social programs are run by the government to benefit the country and everybody is able to get involved. We pay a small monthly tax that helps to keep them running and pay the instructors. Dance lessons, music lessons, tutoring services and sports teams are all examples of what our citizens can get involved with.
